I was playing minecraft but decided to get off when I tried to join back but then it said "Play Demo" and I deleted it and reinstalled but nothing! Please help! I have windows 8 if that makes a difference!!

What's wrong with mojang/notch this isn't the first time it's happened, this happened to me previously when I first bought minecraft, and then I also made 2x transactions to mojang AB , and contacted them with my bank statements and everything, never got my accounts nor my money back, I probably still have a valid court case, xd
You cant migrate a minecraft account together. You're thinking of merging; with you can't do. Migrating only turns you're minecraft account into a mojang account.
Also prevent hackers from hacking you.

I have the same problem except my mineraft turned into a demo mode after I restored my computer to factory settings then it turned into demo mode for some reason. I have already sent an email and tweeted mojang but they haven't responded yet. Help if you can!

That's happened to be before, it was because there was a problem with processing my purchase on my Paypal, or something like that... Check your email. If they refunded your game and downgraded you from premium, they'd have told you in an email.

I Was Giving My Account To My Friend For A Week And He Lost The Paper Where My Password And Email Was. Some Other People Found It And They Griefed My Account. BUT They Said That They Only Changed The Secret Questions. When They Gave My Account Back I Tried To Login To Minecraft.net, And It Worked. But It Showed That My Premium Account (That I Buyed) HAS TO BE BOUGHT! The People That Trolled Me Did Only The questions Nothing Else. How Can I FIx This?
They may have merged it to a mojang account and deleted it. I highly suggest you contact mojang immediately, they may be able to get your account back.
lol, i had a account and same happened with a difference, it didnt login, or play the demo, it even didnt launch the game. I had 1.5.2 launcher, but when i got the 1.6 same happened. After all i emailed the mojang and waiting a reply for weeks.

Are you sure you're using the right login info?
Yes 100% sure
Deleting and reinstalling wouldn't change anything, because the minecraft game is the same. If you bought the game, you should be able to use the account you bought it with, to log in to minecraft, in the launcher.

Are you sure you're using the right login info?
Hmmm... Well try deleteing the .minecraft folder and uninstall minecraft it self then re-install it.
I have windows 8 and that's never happened to me.
