I've made a server before for me and 2 other friends and it worked.
Now we don't play much on that server anymore but another friend of me started playing a couple of days ago. So we planned to play on oure own server. I setted one up like I did before. Using craftbukkit and hamachi.
Then did I updated my minecraft because my friend has 1.0.0 and I had 1.8.1.
Now we have the same version (both 1.0.0) and I use craftbukkit R1 (wich should be good for mc 1.0.0) but we have a problem.
When I start the server I can join with my own hamachi ip and also with localhost, it says 2 slots are avalaible like I set up. My friend added the server with my hamachi ip and he can't join! He gets this: Can't reach server.
We tried very much and we readed forums and googled for 4 days. No solution that worked at the moment. He tried to host the server but then i get the error can't reach server. So it seems it doesn't matter who host it, the one that doesn't host can't get on...
If you have a solution or want to say something I can try, plz do it!

@legendZz thanks for the comment, we live in the same town, good internet providers here Not far away 0.5km or something... With my previous server i have a friend wo could play from another town and the other one lives 1km away. so the distance is not the problem i think.

Same problem, but I am the friend.
it dos do that it is were u live . u can be close to him r far away my friend is close to me but i can't reach him . but i can reach far away people so if u guys r ina town or city then u guys can reach hopefully . nad if u guys r both in the middle off no were then . so it is were u live i think.. thanks
