Processor Issues

Okay, i am having a issue with my processor that when i unplug the battery charger to my laptop my FPS goes straight down to 30 Locked fps even when High performance is activated, And when i plug my charger into the laptop my fps goes straight up to over 200 fps, is there a way to fix this?
I kinda dont want to have a charger plugged into the laptop everywhere to be able to play something.
Laptop specs:
It is the Lenovo brand.
Intel Core i7-4710HQ CPU @ 2.50GHz - 3.50GHz Turbo
Windows 8.1
16gb Ram
Nvidia GeForce GTX 860M 4gb
1 TB Sata III

Is the minecraft setting set to "powersaver"? That would probably be why if so.
Edit: Derp, nevermind, I forgot that isn't a setting anymore.

There's probably a setting in the Power Settings that, if it is unplugged, the processor power is reduced o' something like that
