pebble225When I was learning python, I wanted to start using it on notepad. So when I saved a simple script, the file needed to be open with something. (as it said when I opened it) So I searched "python" under browse and hit enter and now, every .pyo file on my computer is corrupt because they now all open windows media player! I am starting to see random error messages when using Firefox; that's all I noticed so far. What should I do? Btw if no part of this makes sense to you, don't bother posting.

A couple years ago, I make every exe open in notepad. That was the last time I ever touched a computer.
Well, for one, you should use python to use python. Just look it up and go to the official website (it's free). Also, for the files opening in media player, you need to right click on that kind of file (I think you said .pyo) and click "Open with" I think, then click "choose default program". After that, navigate to the python program and hit OK. If that doesn't work then I'll be a bit stumped.
