Question about map rules
Hi guys, i am new here! I have a very very big secrets mansion/base/facility that i am donating to the community. I saw that people aren't allowed to upload another persons map as their own...Which is nearly its intent. It is meant to be a solid well built basemap that people can add their own touches and re-upload for all to enjoy. I would only be claiming ownership of the basemap. Im hoping this is a thing that i can do?
The pictures may be worth a thousand words, but doesnt do the Million blocks justice. Please download it and check it out to see what i mean. The Glass Roof is 168x100 so 16,800 blocks alone, and 4 unique floors to explore..

Your project sounds truly impressive! It’s great that you want to share your mansion/base/facility with the community. The intention behind your basemap seems to be fostering creativity by allowing others to build upon your foundation. However, when it comes to uploading maps on platforms like Planet Minecraft, the rules typically focus on protecting the originality and effort of the creators.
To ensure you're within the guidelines, I recommend:
Clarifying Ownership: Make it clear in your submission description that the basemap is yours and that you encourage others to modify and re-upload their own versions, provided they credit you for the original base.
License Agreement: Consider including a custom license in your map's description that outlines how others can use and modify your work. This can help prevent any misunderstandings or misuse MyCenturas
Your effort to provide a high-quality foundation for others to build on is commendable.
By the way, I appreciate your detailed explanation about the Glass Roof and unique floors—I'm sure many will find it as exciting as you do!

You need to either ask via ticket or otherwise ping the site team for rules questions…
but I don't see why uploading a map of yours that invited others to upload additions to it would not be permitted
How one would be expected to go ablut doing so however, is not clear
