Since there are so many rants, why not make a section in Blogs for it?

A rant section would be horrible. On the whole rants are LQ uninspiring submissions and don't deserve their own section. They fit just fine in the article section.

but then rants can be counted in as articles really, it's just a form on an article though it is a good idea IMO
Don't see why not. Personally, I don't think rants actually "do" anything, they just raise awareness of issues and allow people to let off steam via writing about a certain topic. Although a certain section for it would probably be for the best, considering the amount of rants that come through..
