I used to play minecraft on my family "Mac" up to 1.7.3,
then I got my own laptop (windows 7) and wanted to get those maps on this computer.
But in almost 1 year of trying I have found no way to get my old saves on my new computer.
Help Please?

If i can just find the files like you can on a windows, I can get my usb for a transfer
I don't know how to transfer a file from Mac to Windows, but this thread might help you locate and manipulate your .jar file: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/635 ... ac-291010/
I cant open a .jar or anything, cause "macs" don't have those. and i know the stuff is all saved in library/application support/minecraft but when i go through my directory that last part doesn't exist
You can file exchange between Mac and Windows, although i don't know about game saves, because it does stuff differently.

You can't send a mac file to a windows 7, thats impossible.
