I don't like the way PMC only allows one bump per 24 hours. Mainly because for servers that are starting out don't get a very good start. By far PMC is the best site to get peOple for your server. I understand you don't want people to spam so I think you should allow one bump per hour then you can post it at different times of the day and get more people for your server. I hope you take this request into consideration.

I understand the request but it won't change anything. Everybody would have the same timeout meaning everybody would bump at the same time again meaning your standing would not change no matter how short the timeout is.

Honestly, 1 per 24 hours is fine. You just need to do it at the right time. Most people are on between 2-4. You can bump during that period, or if you don't want to compete with a lot of other bumps, you go later, like 5-7.

I think 24 hours is fine your server stays on the recently updated page for a good minute or 4 You get a bout 8 people a day They invite there friends, you shouldn't need planet minecraft every hour if you have a good server....

Do you know how many people would abuse this? One bump per hour would spam the entire forum, giving forum mods more things to look out for. Though I do understand people trying to get their servers out there, one bump every hour is too much. Every 6-12 hours would be much more realistic. Either way, I don't think that this is going to change unless a lot of people agree with you, and looking at the posts, it seems that most people don't.

Ok, as you said it would be spam, if you looked at my reply to the post above yours you would know that it wouldn't be spam, and you have, on your profile page you are here to advertise your server too. Also, you are under the age of 13 and it is on your page, so correct me if I'm wrong but this site is hosted in the US so you legally cannot be on this site. As you said this is a community site, so please don't swear.

With more than 1 bump per 24 hours the server spamming would get out of control. It would be another form of abuse that moderators have to watch out for.
