Server Creation?
How do I make a server? I look at the wiki page on minecraft wiki and it seemed a bit confusing, so does anyone have an easier guide to follow and how do I check my download/upload speed?

To check upload/download: http://www.speedtest.net/
Creating a simple server:
Portforward
Download Notch's Server client
Put it in it's own folder
run it
BAM! You're done.
use http://www.showmyip.com/simple/ to check your external IP
(that's how other people log in)
You can log in by typing 0; localhost; 0.0.0.0; or you're computers ip.
(I might have missed something.)

The wiki is the easiest guide for Vanilla (basic) servers. I haven't really looked into any other types. XD
How to check your RAM (I'm not sure aboot any of this I just Googled for it XD):
-Turn your computer on and wait for Windows to load...
-Right click on "My Computer" and select "Properties." Doing so will open up "Systems Properties."
-Press on the "General" tab. Here you will view the physical memory installed on your computer. The amount indicated is the total RAM installed on your computer. It is measured in MB or GB.
-Check the amount of memory in use currently. To know this, open the taskbar or press "Ctrl + Alt + Delete" to open a pop up window.
-Click on "Task Manager". Press the "Performance" button. You can view the amount of memory currently used by each program running on your PC.
