Spawn point not working

Can someone help me?

i moved my spawn point to my house using MCedit but when i die i end up underground over 500 blocks away in a separate base iv made

Anyone got any ideas on how to fix it so i spawn in my house

I've tried moving the spawn point to different locations and i always spawn in the same spot

Use Zombe´s modpack compass mod, You can reset it using that.

They are all 1.6.6 mods and right now im trying to find updates for all the modsso i can update to 1.7

Also, if you need you can use singleplayer commands. that works if you dont wanna go to 1.7 just type /setspawn where you want it then take away singleplayer commands and live freely on your way

Yes, if you use a 1.7 Mod on 1.6.6, That`s not smart, i suggest going to 1.7, Most important mods are updated now.

Mhhh, I heard Zombe`s compass mod can mess up spawning, do you use it?

Yep
I deleted everything minecraft related and redownloaded and installed it all

It worked originally and if i set the map up in a server it spawns correctly but for now i cant get it to work on my SP map
