tekkit requires java 7 to run
I know I made it already, but something is wrong with my java and it stops runnig the server half waay?
If u downloaded tekkit then u did something illegal cuz there isn't an updated legal version of tekkit. PIRATED SOFTWARE
You can legally download tekkit...you just have to get their launcher of their website.
OT: Download and extract the server from the website into a folder and run the server, it will generate all the files you need to run the server!

Ok i downloaded the file, but what do i put in the folder? Everything thats in the zip, or just the launch?
To make a tekkit server simply go to http://www.technicpack.net/tekkit/ and download the tekkit server file. Place it in a folder, change the config to your liking and with that file you can install plugins, so its a bukkit server. Or you can buy one (24/7) and very stable. I prefer Daddycheese hosting, daddycheese is a nice host. Need any more help, just ask me!
