Umm...I installed the HD texture pack fixer and it didn't fix it. Ok, so I go on to my minecraft after installing the HD texture pack fixer and try to install a texture pack, right? So then it "runs out of memory" and now when I try to get back on it black screens. Any help here? Please help me, I want to play minecraft!

Try deleting your bin folder then running the game to generate a new fresh minecraft.jar.
Then....if you know how to install mods...install optifine instead of using MCPatcher.
*NOTE: If you use ModLoader install Optifine AFTER ModLoader.*
