Texture pack problem

sorry if this is the wrong place, just tell me and ill fix it, I was playing minecraft getting board of the regular texture pack, so i went and downloaded the gerudoku texture pack. It was 32x32 so i use MCPatcher, the texture pack patcher. It worked until i checked the texture pack folder and behold, the normal texture was gone. The original look was gone. I've been playing with this texture pack not caring, but i want the old one back without having to delete anything, because i want to keep this texture and not have to deal with putting it back in. I've had little success finding the old style texture so can someone send me a link or theirs. maybe I'm just lazy or looking in the wrong place but it would be grateful, thanks ~oxygen.

or simply delete the .bin folder in .minecraft, this will keep all of your saves and value inputs, but will put you in a blank state that will require the game to automatically download again, giving you the default theme, however as said before it will delete your modified texture pack.

The HD texture fix works by replacing a number of code values in the game files, meaning that the default will not work anymore, and to make the texture fix work better, when you specify the texture pack, it replaces the default textures with those ones. Since this is the case, when you want to change back to the original texture pack, tell minecraft to force update at the launch screen under the options menu (assumes using most recent launcher that has news feed). You will need to do this each time you want to go to the default pack and you will need to re-apply the patch every time you want to go back to the doku textures. I hope this helps clear some stuff up for you.

Well, thanks kacboy, but it's not updated to beds. Thanks a lot though for moving it and all, you, my sir, are epic.

Moved this too General help so you don't have to. I'm not sure what the patches do but I assume you are talking about the folder where you put textures? idk I can't help much I'm Linux and Mac. :S

You might have to delete or undo all this stuff to get the default back. The patch probably did somethin'.

EDIT: Here's a Default Texture pack download I used a long time ago. idk if it's up to 1.3 (beds, etc.), if it's not I can look for another.
