The Random Button
Though I have only been on here for a few days and only kinda know my way around, but I think that there should be a feature for Projects, Skins, Texture Packs, Servers, and Mods.
A Randomizer button that will lead to a automatically randomized upload. you can find something awesome by a person who isn't well known and boost their popularity while finding a good map that fits your liking. it can work with skins mods and texture packs as well. its basically a game of luck.

We used to have "Random" submission reels, but they were removed for being too server-consuming. I'd like to see it re-implemented at some point.
I'd also like to see an "Up and Coming" members section which shows new members that have just started posting submissions. Try to help give exposure to some of the newer people out there.

just like how projects are quickly buried within a few minutes here so are forum posts.

This sounds like a great idea. It would be a good way of people who aren't well know being seen on the site, because most stuff is buried after a few minutes. The only problem I can think of is that there is the small possibility that it could land on something that someone would not want to see (Like those plug ins that make screamers appear. I've seen a few and they aren't nice)

I approve of this very much.
This is actually a really cool idea. Like you said, it'd be a good way to find something awesome by someone you don't know/isn't well known.
