I have just played this game for 2 mouths..not a big deal of red stone......Can someone explain why it can activate the pistons...and once they are activated..I can never deactivate it again...(the only way is to destroy the piston)...

Having this problem too,I created a U.R.T. that required pistons to stay closed and open up when im ready for the tnt to fall,and then i realize they didnt open up and BOOOOM i was sent flying with a dead body and treasure everywhere

is not a Redstoner
I'm a redstone "freak" and it's a glitch, when a piston is powered directly and horizontally it stay extended until a block update happens. Two ways to fix this is to place a piston (not stick) above at and have it extend 5 ticks after or change the redstone completely

Well, in this case it could work as a BUD, but usually BUDs follow some rule of redstone or something. This one seems unusual...I get this problem A LOT as well. I had to move my redstone builds someplace else because for some reason pistons would activate out of nowhere even though there's literally no place for it to get its charge from. This one is a bug.

yeah..but even if there is no red stone...it is still on..you can try in [1.7.4][1.7.5][1.6.4.]..if u do it in certain order,
1. place the lever and turn it on
2. put down the piston
When I am making a map there is a hidden door that have to be activate 2 blocks down from the lever, I can never get it right because of this weird thing here..
