Two PMC issues

Just to keep things brief and to the point, I'll outline them very quick.

1) Chat while using squid (proxy)
I have found that whenever utilizing a local or remote proxy (usually squid), the chat always returns the "Invalid username" error. I would understand this possibly on a remote proxy, however this happens running through a local proxy as well. I was wondering if it was perhaps due to the http header (Via:1.0 localhost (squid/3.1.19)), or perhaps a port that isn't being allowed. Using a proxy also results in repeated "Error: Column 'ip' cannot be null" errors.

2) Cannot upload entirety of a blog
I still cannot upload the entirety of a blog that I wish to put onto pmc. I have possibly around 50 lines with quite a few hyperlinks already, and it loses format on things like some bolded text upon uploading, and I cannot upload any more to the blog. For the blog in question, you can find a link below. There is a reference to the full version within it as well near the beginning:

Overall, these are my only two issues that I really require some outside help with for the site

The invalid username happened to me to, but I cleared my history and cache and log off.

The proxy doesn't hold cache, and my own side I've tried clearing as well. My assumption is that perhaps the "column ip cannot be null" when I open the chat page triggers something to prevent multiple sign-ins to chat.

The issue with the blog isn't to do with length, it happens to me too, even when I manually format it, it can lose formatting sometimes when uploading. I find the easiest way to get around the formatting issue is to turn it into pictures and IMG them in the blog, it's easier and you don't lose formatting you may spend 30 minutes doing.

Unfortunately this would not be a solution for me, considering the amount of links there will be on it.

I thought it was a minimum for blogs? Now are we having a 25 or less words-esque production where you have to use a certain amount and not go over a certain amount. Well a few blog ideas might be screwed for me.

His issue isn't with length, he can't add to the blog.

When pasting try using plaintext format and manually formatting.

It was the same when I did it originally with plain text (when I thought bbcode would work, hah). Same results.

Can't answer your first point because I suck at computers, but your second point is on our list: max submission length will be increased. Soon. Ish.
