What is this weird thing?
I was playing in a superflat world in minecraft and I found this:
When I break a block, it makes no sounds. My friend, Dragonpickering was unable to see this. I can't place blocks on this thing. I did not build this. When I broke a block, it destroyed a large group. CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT THIS IS?!?!?!?!

Something similar once happened to me, but with sand floating over a beach. Were you on Bedrock edition or Java edition?

I play Windows 10 edition. I guess.

Yea windows 10 edition is heavily based of bedrock edition, but with some minor tweaks, such as no farlands.

It looks like your playing on bedrock edition, which tends to have some weird bugs on some systems. I think this is a visual glitch though. The most I can think of for you to do is to restart the game. Or alternatively, just ignore it.

well
superflat lands have grass and bedrock
so maybe something weird happened for you? and not for others where it just glitched and blocks ended up doing stuff.
