Pop is player vs player, and involve 2 or more individuals killing eachother

It stands for player vs. player I think. But stay away from factions! Don't let it corrupt you!

PvP as it has already been established is Player Vs Player. This is where one or more players will be pit against each other in any number of games, from pure survival (like factions servers) to games like Ghostcraft or Survival Games. This is where 1 or more people have to defeat another team or 1 or more people ranging from survival to any number of gamemodes but it doesn't really matter what gamemode.

Generally PvP is part of factions, there are multiple things you should know about factions, including things like, play with your friends, communication is vital, factions uses /f commands and such. Search up factions for tips and tricks but basically that is what you need to know.

PvP stands for Play versus Player. It's pretty self-explanatory, it pretty much just means fighting is enabled. As for the building things, it really depends on the server. There is normal survival ones where PvP is enabled. While there are other one where it's hardcore and you can get kicked just for dying.
