Which Editing Software

sony vegas trial (cause why not? its still as good as paid)

1) Sony Vegas (if you are still developing in video editing)
2) Cinema 4D or After effects (if you want to take it to the next level)
BUT if you want something free then the basics would be imovie or movie maker.

Well. I Would use Sony Vegas cause it is the most easiest to use editing software

ok i found sony vegas pro 12 to be the best it's easy to use and with the right settings the file sizes dont end up massive although one to also consider is adobe premiere cs6 which i also quite good but id say is a little more complex. however both of these have quite hefty price tags, so if you don't have the money to buy one of these to (or the time to find a cracked version on the internet) basically any other editing program other than windows movie maker which is basically appalling. also i noticed you havent put a mic down which is something you should invest in first too even if it's just a cheap $10 headset or whatever. if you dont believe me you need a mic check out the earlier videos from my channel they have terrible sound quality but if you watch a newer episdoe you can actually understand me and the quality isnt too bad but could be better as my mic isnt that good.

sony vegas is quite nice for beginners
the next step up would obviously be adobe premiere+after effects
