I just got a new windows 8.1. when I downloaded minecraft and started to play I noticed that I can't turn while walking or attack while walking. Please help!

reinstall java uninstall minecraft and update your drivers like your graphics drivers and give us your pc specs
Have you updated Java? And or updated video card drivers? And if you got a disk windows 8.1 (I dunno is 8.1 is on a disk or not..) then you may need to update it, using their updater.
