Summer's coming up, and that means it's the perfect time for yet another contest! There has been great demand for my contest over the course of the first "season" (if you will), and now that I've already contacted the people that indicated their interest, I'm opening entrance to the general population.

For this contest, I hope to begin with either 8 or 16 participants. Here are some quick general rules:

1. These stories generally range from 500-5,000 words, though I have gone as high as 10,000. That way, these should not be too time-consuming, though you can choose to write a longer story if you want.
   
2. These stories must be in English (non-English phrases are accepted if they are short)
   

Here are some special rules that I want to stress:

1. Please communicate with me! You must either submit an entry for every round you are included in or let me know that why you are not submitting. I get it, life happens. Just let me know.
   
2. You cannot participate in this contest if you have submitted one or more entries in the last season of this contest unless I specially invite you back. Just ask!
   

Each prompt will be announced at the start of the round. You should look at the previous rounds to get a sense of what I like to do:

Season 1 - Round 1
Season 1 - Round 2
Season 1 - Round 3
Season 1 - Round 4

This contest will be judged by me and the winner of Season 1, which is ongoing but will either be JediJerboa or CaelChan.

Prizes include being featured on my page, a custom trophy, a commission, a subscription (if I haven't already), and a potential collaboration with me (if you so choose).
