Inanimate Objects Contest Discussion Thread
Welcome to the Contest Discussion Thread on the Inanimate Objects Skin Contest!
Here you can discuss about your skins, the contest and any recommendations you feel need to be added!
Definition of Inanimate:
1. Not alive, esp. not in the manner of animals and humans.
This means, no humans incorporated into your skins!
Examples of Inanimate Objects:
A Spoon!
A Pool Stick!
A Phone!
A Coconut!
A Pine Tree!
A Hammer!
A Eraser!
A Lamp!
Your goal is to create a skin that resembles an object and bring it to life!
Who knows how many inanimate objects this Minecraft world can hold!
So get skinning and bring an inanimate object to life!
As always, don't forget to read up on the rules and details of the contest! Prizes are involved too!

In the inanimate objects contest can you have more than one object in the skin, for example the leg is a pencil and the arm it a bottle e.t.c
Doesn't look like there's a rule against and i've already seem some entries like that
Yeah that works. The whole concept is inanimate, so it's a huge variety of skins you can create.
Some really good skins already, some terrible ones aswell which looked like they took 10 seconds to make

No. The definition we are standing by inanimate is something that is not living/breathing. Planets need oxygen to survive so that makes them living.
wait, but a pine tree is given as an example in the contest description

This was covered in the previous page. I had made a mistake. Plants are allowed.

I'm starting to think I need something more creative. Controllers are already being done to death. Plus, it is hard to make more detailed.....
I'm having trouble posting mine.. It says I have transparency, when there isn't....
Open it in paint then save it. Paint will make anything "transparent" opaque.

I was mistaken. Plants are allowed in this contest. They will be considered inanimate though they need oxygen as well.
