Welcome to Ultra Mashup, the Weapon Expansion contest! In this contest, your job is to design your very own weapon. It can be inspired from a video game or be your own original design! Be creative, you can make up anything.
How do I design my weapon?
Start by making a Minecraft texture for your weapon. It can be a sword, axe, bow, it can be anything you imagine! Give your weapon a name, and write a bit about the weapon and its abilities. Put this all in a PMC blog/forum thread and link it in the comments to submit an entry! Below are the rules. Good luck :D

Rules
- Be creative!
- Don't copy from other websites
- Use textures sized 16x16, 32x32, or 64x64
- You can make 3D models instead of textures if you want to.
- Be respectful of other people's art.
- Be a good sport.

Prizes
The pixel art for the trophies will be put here soon. The first place winner will get their weapon concept turned into a Minecraft mod and sent to them. (I might not be able to mod more complex ideas, but I will try my best :D)

Here is my entry: Angelic Sword.
It does about 20 times the damage of a netherite sword, but won't damage passive mobs. You acquire the sword after having a netherite sword for 20 MC days and having your stats show that you haven't killed a single passive mob. Your netherite sword will transform into the angelic sword if those conditions are met.

are multiple textures allowed?

Depends:
You can make as many submissions as you like.
In one submission, you can provide alternate textures for the same weapon, but not vice versa.
For example:
I can submit an ice sword, and also provide a second texture for the ice sword in the same submission. But I cannot submit an ice sword and also give an ice bow in the same submission.
If you would like to make multiple different submissions, you can do that, and I will judge each one of them, and each one of them will have an equal chance of winning.
TLDR: You can make as many weapons as you like, as long as they are submitted separately.

Only textures, no models?

You can do 3D models too :)
I will eventually put the judging criteria out (it got deleted) but making models has a chance of giving you a better score because of the effort it takes.
