Hello everyone, I'm new to PMC, never used it before with an account. I'm a minecraft veteran and sometimes play modded, can someone let me know what this community is all about?

PMC is divided into 6 places.
-There are the map creators
-The server owners
-The Texture/Resource Pack Creators
-The Bloggers
-The Skinners
-The Coders
Also, you have a regular profile and a forum profile.
You can edit your profile at the top right, and you can edit your forum profile in the forum. Players have levels and classes. Classes allow you to have a cool level name (that you choose). As you level up by getting diamonds and subs you will get more classes. Also the first word will change after awhile.
Since it looks like your a server owner, to post a server you will need to change the MOTD to a code and then back to approve it is yours.

If you want to advertise your server here, you should go to the "Servers" section of PMC and you can add your server there! When adding your server, you can write a description, including what it is like and you can also include your website name. Good luck in PMC and see you around!
