i already uploaded my first map, how do i make others download it?

Well, there's not really a way to make others download it, but I'll subscribe to you if it helps! To make others see it though, you have to have it get a lot of likes to get it on the home page. I'll like it to help you out.

Yeah there's no download. As well as there's no way you'll get people to automatically download your world. It isn't garruanteed that they'll even like it. The only "right" way to do it is by making people actually like your map because they want to. Make it as good as you can and with a bit of "advertising" you'll get downloads eventually. Don't think that you can make people download your map. They choose whatever they want to download and it's up to you to show them why your map deserves to be downloaded.
Oh Derp I just looked. No download link :/ sorry. You should put it as a map, not a project.
Maps are projects though.

Well, not ecxactly, but I do think I'm slightly dumber than others, or maybe I just don't have common sense.
Welp, through my many months of experience on this site, I have come to realise one golden rule that will increase your downloads dramatically. Be warned that this is sacred knowledge, and in the wrong hands it could lead to the utter destruction of the project section of the site, and eventually the downfall of the whole Internet. This has been passed down from generation to generation, and until now an oral tradition. So feel privileged that you will finally become a master of this art by following this law for the rest of your life:

Nobody will know what the map is about if you don't tell them. And if they don't know what it's about, they won't feel like downloading it. Don't type it out like a forum post or a chat message, either: use proper spelling, grammar and punctuation.
Also, if you want it noticed, it would be wise to advertise it on the chat. Of course, read the rules before you do so, or you'll get warned, then kicked, then banned, then maybe even get your map taken down.
