use them when your done the site and it'll validate it and see if there are any errors etc... If its validated they will give you an embedded code you can put into the footer of the website to tell your users its validated and correctly coded in HTML and CSS.

Whats the point of the validator

Yes could you have a look into word press, if that dosnt work could you do a simplistic website with white as a base colour, forums, the front page for news and such, actually just something similar to this http://thevoxelbox.com but more of a forum.

i am jsut starting with he basics of html and css i am pretty good at websites and learn quick this is more of a challenge for me because theres nothing else to do i do not want to make sites better that are already there I want to work on a fresh new slate
