How about falling anvils? You're in a small arena and anvils are falling.. The longer you're in the arena for, the faster the anvils fall. As well as the arenas will get smaller the longer you're int the arena/alive (Edges start to fall down). If you fall down, you lose... If you get hit by an anvil 3 times, you lose.
Maybe some power-ups? diamonds or something will randomly apear and if they stand over the item, they will receive maybe more health, have the edges grow 1 block bigger.. Maybe some more?

Thanks for the idea I might do something like this in the future but right now I'm not that good at coding and complex stuff like that.

I'm not making a request, but more of just an idea.
What this would be is sort of a typical pvp arena (Multiple Arenas) where people will have kits. These so called kits would be unlocked from skill points received from winning/getting kills. These kits wont be configurable considering they will have their own effects. (Unless you can create each item and specify them to work in a config)
But anyways, each kit would sort of act like guns, but more in a magical way? Some would give you effects in which would knock back a player, shoot fire like a dragon, freeze someone where they wont be able to move but still be able to attack from their current position.
Something like Hypixels pvp arenas but with more classes/effects?
