I Need A Modders Help

I have two ideas that I would like Notch to know about....
One idea is Plexicrafts:

And my second idea is that you should be able to drop food items and it will lure a monster to them.
Ex. 1 You're being chased by a creeper and you don't have a sword so you get away by dropping food.
Ex. 2 You have a mob trap and you want to lure monsters into the trap (Just drop food)
