Please Improve My Skin

Could someone please improve my skin and keep the same style?

Flaws of the skin:

Hair can be mistaken for a hood
The skin in general is very dark and black, and boring

I've always wanted to make a skin similar to this, however by not copying it exactly so it looks the same:

If someone could improve it/ make it more like the above skin, I'd appreciate it!
