Greetings fellow Minecrafters!
I'm in need of help! I havn't touched minecraft since the Redstone update 1.5 back in 2013 when I decided to shut down my server.
I was thinking of going back a bit and I'd like to use my old spawn once again but this time, on a smaller scale.
I redownloaded my save and went on it to start modifying it, making it better and cooler with the new items. However, the world it currently is in does not have any of the items that came after 1.5.
Since I do lack the skills or knowledge needed to make the world compatible for 1.8 items, I'm asking for your help!

If there is not any way to "save" the current world, mabye you could help out with copy/pasting the whole area (marked with bedrock in the air and the the very bottom) with MCedit or something, into a new world.
This would be highly appreciated!
