SImple Texture Pack Tweak Request

Hi everyone! I'm new, and there's a simple texture pack tweak I was hoping to find but haven't so far, so I thought I'd ask here.

When playing on multiplayer servers, it's hard to see everyone's awesome skins when they suit up in armor. I was hoping for a texture pack that just takes the default Minecraft texture pack but makes all armor (chainmail included) completely transparent when worn. The armor icons are fine (it would be a pain to have THOSE be invisible...), I just wanna see everyone's skins when we're all suited up.

I don't think the "enchanted shimmer" will be a problem, but maybe you could offer two versions, one with the shimmer and one without. I'm not sure if the shimmer would bother me or not, and as far as I know it wouldn't be a big deal to make that invisible too. Of course, for all I know it will take away the shimmer from the item icons and the weapons too, so... yeah. Lemme know how that goes, I guess?
