Datapack Jam is a monthly contest where you have 7 days to make a datapack that fits a theme.

1. Use your own work and ideas. Online tools are allowed, but make sure to credit them.
2. Stick to the theme. You can get as creative as possible, but your datapack must be based on the theme.
3. Do not intentionally copy others. Use your own ideas, you can do it!
4. Datapack must be made within the time given. Do not use old datapacks.
5. You can work in teams of 3. You can also go solo if you can’t find a friend.

6. Stick to Planet Minecraft’s rules. Any datapack that goes against the PMC rules will be disqualified from this or future events, and removed from PMC.

The theme will be revealed at the start date of the jam. It will be revealed in the Discord, and updated on the group page.

The easiest way to submit the creations is through the Google Form link. You can also dm an admin or moderator if you are unable to use the link.

Currently, prizes are limited, but with your support and help we can grow the project and prizes will become better! It is important to remember this is a community hosted event and participating is just for the fun of making a cool datapack.

You can suggest a theme on the discord server! You can also vote for a theme nearer the time. Join the discord for all the information you will need!

Yes, you can update your datapack at any point. Once the deadline is up, we will download your pack in its current state so no updates made after the deadline are counted. However, please feel free to polish your pack through updates before the deadline.

If you want, feel free to continue to work on and develop your pack even after judging is over. Small ideas can become big things!
