What makes a datapack idea stand out? ⚙️

If you had to create a datapack for a jam with only one main mechanic, what would you build? ⚙️

I think the best datapacks often take one simple Minecraft mechanic and turn it into something much more interesting.

Would you create:
- A new gameplay mechanic
- A unique mob behavior
- A new progression system
- A challenge/survival mechanic
- A world event
- Something completely experimental
Even visual details can make a datapack feel more polished, especially when custom items, particles, or UI elements use a consistent color palette.

Hey, there currently is no way to "join" the group, it just exists to announce new events and event related news! The current people currently in the group are judges, moderators, administrators and the owner quite obivously

Add collections for each datapack jam at the bottom of the page or remove the datapack jam 1 collection.
