Wrecking Things

They all wake up
to dye their hair, beautiful
silky long spider: ruined with
paint, stained and heavy
fog swallowing and stealing
your burning scalp,
dyed firely wings,
wrecking things.
One day they die,
and do nothing but
lie in bed
forever.
