    Hey, everyone!

    Just mentioning again that you can make an Aternos account if you'd like to start up the server.
    The schedule is there so people know when it's acceptable to ask staff to start it up, but there is no guarantee it will be up at the listed times.

    If you make an Aternos account, please tell me what your username is, so I can add you to the "trusted" list (this will only give you access to starting up the server; nothing else)!

    You have until the 10th (two days) to contact me! If you have not contacted me by the 10th, you will be considered peaceful until further notice; doing anything considered non-peaceful is still against the rules and will not be tolerated.

    EDIT: If you want to be non-peaceful, you MUST contact me or submit a form here (if you're part of a group). Otherwise, you will not be able to participate in anything non-peaceful.

    Today is the last day of peace!

    I'm still working on adding more info to the group. Unfortunately it's been taking a bit longer than I initially planned. The Discord server is fully up to date, though, so do feel free to ask me for an invite at any time.

    The Discord server has now been updated. We're currently working on updating the group. Hopefully, it won't take long. Here's an announcement that was made on our Discord server (slightly edited to fit PMC).


    Hello, everyone!
    We are officially starting the server tomorrow (Wednesday, June 1st).
    We will have a week long of peace starting tomorrow, Wednesday, June 1st.
    The peace will end on Wednesday, June 8th.
    Between the 1st and 8th, any form of non-peaceful actions are not allowed and will result in either a temporary or permanent ban depending on the severity.

    Everything for the Discord server has been completed. The PMC Group page will be updated shortly as well.

    Less important updates will be seen throughout the month or so, so keep an eye out for those if you're interested.

    For those wishing to apply, the new application form has now been completed. Click >> HERE << if you're interested in applying or renewing your application. DMs will be sent out to everyone who applied in the last three months or who weren't accepted.

    EDIT: There's a chance some people won't be contacted, as we're not sure what their PMC users are and they didn't give us a discord. If you haven't been contacted but sent in an application, please just send one in without us asking you to.

    After a 3-month hiatus, we're coming back! Big thanks to everyone for being so patient. We're not entirely sure when we'll be coming back, but, hopefully, within the next month or so.

    We're going to be making a few changes, which will be listed below. But first, please keep an eye out for future announcements/posts, as they may have important information regarding the server.

    - Reworking rules & guidelines.
    - Revamping the application form.
    - Adding a schedule.
    - Revamping the server + PMC group.

    Since the application form will be revamped, anyone who isn't part of the SMP as of writing this (including those who sent in an application, but never got a response due to the hiatus), will have to fill out the new form.
    Everyone who's already a part of the SMP will not have to reapply, but will have to read through what was added to make sure they understand and agree. If they wish to reapply up, they can.

    For those who applied within the last 3 months, please be patient while we revamp the application form. Once we're finished, we'll be sending private messages (PMC) or Discord direct messages (if possible) to let you so know.

    Remember that more things may be changed later on and other important information may be mentioned in future posts, it's not likely this is the final post that will be made in terms of the SMP reopening.

    Just want to apologise to everyone who's been waiting to play on the SMP, as well as waiting for a response to their application. I've really not been doing well in terms of health and probably need a bit more time. Decided to post this here, on the group wall posts, so everyone interested in the SMP is made aware (considering some people may miss it if it's just on my main wallposts).
    Hope everyone is doing well and can wait a bit longer. Again, I'm very sorry for taking so long.

    Today is the day!
    The grace period is now over. However, that does not mean you can kill everyone on sight.
    Anyone who is a nomad or peaceful cannot be attacked nor attack other players (this includes theft, destruction of structures, etc.)

    For those who have 3+ people and wish to be an official nation (non-peaceful), please comment below and specify that so I can send you the proper form. Otherwise, you will not be counted as a nation and anything hostile (theft, destruction, etc.) will be counted as breaking the rules.

    For people who start nations later on, please contact me so we can go through the proper creation process.

    Please comment on what you currently are (peaceful or non-peaceful).
    If you're peaceful, there's currently no need to fill out any forms. If you wish to be a nation, you will need to fill out a proper form.

    For any questions or concerns, please contact me (Prince Ren).


    Also, the server is NOW UP! Apologies for it being so late today, I had to whitelist a bunch of people. DMs will be sent out to them shortly.

    There are two (2) days left until the grace period officially ends.
    What does this mean? It means non-peaceful groups are allowed to attack other non-peaceful groups, such as committing theft, minor destruction (breaking into buildings, etc.), PVP, and so on.

    I suggest easing into a non-peaceful role if you're planning to have a non-peaceful group, rather than jumping right into it.
    But, in case people do jump into it immediately and you have publicly stated that your group is non-peaceful, expect any destruction that's allowed within the rules (I.E. theft, minor destruction, etc.)
    For those who aren't sure what role to take, I suggest being peaceful for the time being, as no one can attack you (you can't attack either) within that amount of time, and you can figure out what suits you best.
    And, for those that are peaceful, just continue doing what you were doing while the grace period was going on and everything should be fine.



    In other news, the server is up and anyone who's whitelisted can join.

    I'd say you do automatically become peaceful if you're not part of a group. You can join groups at any point, though, or create your own.

      It's time for some Tarnag lore, and since I love free writing and telling stories Imma just tell it like a story lol
      I'll come up with some more cultural stuffs later.

      v the story v

      Tarnag's deity is Tarnatus, and it is said that in ancient times Tarnatus was banished to the darkness of the earth.
    It was full of monsters and darkness and Tarnatus lived many lonely years of solitude, trapped beneath deepslate.
    He defeated many zombies and explored many mineshafts, but none ever lead to the surface.
    Their exits had all collapsed when he had been banished.

      Tarnatus could not remember how to make the tools to get rid of the rubble either, nor could he find them.
    He still hopelessly explored them looking for some clue as to how he could escape his prison.
    It was better than mindlessly staring at lava flows, he could never tell how long he had sat and stared.
    It could have been a mere minute or a century for all he knew.
    But it was one of the few light sources Tarnatus could find and he never knew when he would find the next one.
    So he moved on and found a new mineshaft shortly after.

      This one was harder, a true challenge, and the chests he found actually had stuff in them.
    Rails, a name tag, a few golden apples, and a singular potato.
    It was the first time in a long while that Tarnatus had found something alive.
    He started taking it everywhere, on every little adventure and joy ride, and even named it.
    Tarnatus called him Peir, (pronounced peer) because of the way it always seemed to peer at things.
    Good things only last so long, however, and it was all the more devastating to Tarnatus when the little Peir started to sprout.
    He would not let him be lost and planted Peir next to a waterfall and hung glowberries above him to give him light.

    Tarnatus never left Peir, instead, he build protective walls and enlisted players to help protect Peir.
    It is said that all potatoes today are descendants of Peir.
    The people of Tarnag believe that it is right and just to present Peir's descendants to him.
    But some only do it as a means of honoring Tarnatus's many years in exile

    If Peir the little potato plant was ever stolen many would miss him, and Tarnatus would have his revenge...

    So apprently people need it in clear writing, so here it is before its officially added to the rules!

    Because apprently that wasn't included at all the mentions of standard SMP rules and the fact its not an anarchy server, let alone its obviously not common-sense.


    It's now very clearly on the rules, so if anyone else wanted to hack i advise you either leave the server or turn them off so you dont get banned!

    Update occurring last night added some quality of life plugins.

    Mobs now stack, see the exception list below :
    -horses, donkeys and mules (skeleton horses and zombie horses also do not stack)
    -cats
    -wolves
    -parrots
    -axolotls
    -llamas (exluding trader llamas)
    -pandas
    -snowmen
    -villagers
    -withers

    partial exception is tropical fish, which will only stack with identical fish

    Nicknames are now usable, but can only be issued by a staff member online.
    This is to be used to clear usernames, not to be used for fun, so please dont ask for frequent changes.
    Colour codes are allowed in nicknames, but are limited to one colour per name, no other special formatting options will be issued.

    Names underlined/muticolour are staff members! This is to make it easier for you to seek help

    Extra measures have been taken to ensure no more thefts occur during the peace period. If you live in a community which lacks an enderchest, you may ask staff for one

    Just a reminder for everyone.
    You can not consider yourself any type of group (nation, community) unless three (3) or more people have already joined.

    Another note;
    Nations are non-peaceful, meaning they are allowed to attack other nations.
    Communities are peaceful, meaning they cannot attack or be attacked.
    Please refrain from calling peaceful groups things that are commonly used as non-peaceful titles (I.e. faction, nation, kingdom, empire, etc.) as it may cause confusion and conflict.
    Things like guild, village, city, fellowship, etc. Are all allowed, just nothing that hints at it being something non-peaceful.


    Also, the server will be up in approximately 10 minutes.
