  • About the jam!

    So, you might be asking, what do I get in return for taking place in this jam? Well...

    Rewards:
    Every participant that has submited an entry will be included in the special thanks section in the texture pack we are making, Unfaithful 8x8! Your name will be credited, and will also become a splash text that can appear on the Main Menu of the game! Cool right (i hope).
    The created builds published here will also become parts of the panorama in the texture pack (in the near future)

    Rule #1: No copying - take inspiration but make something yourself!
    Rule #2: Be kind to others
    Rule #3: No NSFW and swears
    Rule #4: Have fun!!!

    (also about the builds, i will not limit the height to only 8 blocks.)

    (P.S. I might add my favourite build as a painting but I am not sure yet)

    Can I make ANYTHING and still not be disqualified?
    Yes. EVERYTHING, is allowed, as long as you dont break the rules and stick to the 8 pixels style.
    What do I get if I make a submission?
    I will personally feature your creation in the texture pack I am working on, Unfaithful 8x
    Also, I am adding every build created in the panorama of the pack in the style of floating islands, which is also a reason builds need to be 8x8 blocks wide. (height doesn't matter, build a skyscraper if you so desire)
    How do I make an 8x skin?
    Since the skins are already in the 8x style, you'll have to narrow it down to 4x4. (which i find difficult to create in)
    What happens in the end of the jam?
    I will release a .doc file containing all the different submissions you people made and the people that participated. It will be up on my profile the day this jam ends!!
    Is there a trophy that i will aqcuire once the jam is over?
    If you do infact participate, then you will be awarded with a trophy indeed. It is displayed on the main screen of the jam right now!
    You will be able to use it in your profile and view it in your [​Trophy Case].
    Will another jam like this one take place?
    YES! I am planing to release a new ranked jam in the near future, where people will be rewarded and judged based on the quality of their builds!!!
    Also for the Top 3, every person will have their own trophy, representing the rank in which they finished. Every participant will also be able to upload up to 3 submissions.
