Download the map with a build that's made with raw blocks
and color the build by changing these blocks.
Using WorldEdit or Axiom will help you color everything fast.

you have 2 months to participate

Minecraft version: Java 1.20.1 - 1.21.5

🎨 raw blocks on this map you need to color:

	main walls
	bridge
	roof frame
	roof
	tree
	tree leaves

you don't need to color-change one block to only one block,
you can mix whatever colors or gradients you'd like for walls, roofs, and etc.

you can add some details to the castle
but can not change the structures and shapes

✔	windows (with light block behind)
✖	interior not needed
✔	decorations such as vines on walls or roof
✔	additional decor as foliage, grass, flowers
✖	you can't change any terrain
✖	you can't change any castle/trees shapes

FAQs

Where do I start?
You need to download the starter map, then choose blocks you want to use for your coloring and replace blocks to yours using Axiom tools or WorldEdit brushes.
Can I use Minecraft heads?
Yes, you can decorate with Minecraft heads.
Should I provide download?
Yes, it is preferable, but it's ok if you don't want to.
Make sure to include a lot of screenshots or a video.
Terrain coloring?
If you really want to change terrain color to fit your vibe more - you can!
But it is not necessary to do and will not be rated with extra points.
Wheat fields coloring?
If you absolutely have to replace wheat blocks around to fit your vibe - you can!
But it is not necessary to do and will not be rated with extra points.
Biome coloring?
You can change the biome of the island to fit your preferences.
Map settings and gamerules?
This map uses randomTickSpeed 0
to freeze updating blocks, this is how we achieve glitching for more variety.
Be careful with updating them, cause it can trigger the whole glitchy area to fall apart.

There's also fire spread off, day cycle off, weather cycle off.

  Hi, I have a few questions:
  
  1. Are we allowed to add more detail to the walls and roof of the castle (such as slabs, stairs, walls, etc..) while keeping the overall shape the same as the original? Or are we just allowed to recolor the current blocks and add windows/vines/foliage?
  
  2. Are we allowed to add other smaller structures on the terrain? (without changing the shape of the terrain)
  
  3. Can we use/place entities?
  
  4. Can we use command blocks to add particles or other effects?

  1. you are allowed to work with the existing shapes, if you wanna add an extra layer to the roof line for example, to make it stand out more - you can
  
  2. yes, you can add other structures, but judging will be focused mostly on recoloring itself
  
  3. entities are allowed
  
  4. effects are also allowed

  I started on my entry! Well. Started. A bit more then started, but I'm not half way done or finished, so I suppose it's an okay term.
  
  Either way I'm having a load of fun! Haven't built in any meaningful way for a while, and this has been a fun way to get back into it!
  
  Also I love my theme, so. You know. It's been a vibe working on it.

  if you want it to be like a nether castle theme you can color the environment with any biome you'd like,
  and change the color of the terrain if you'd like to, so it fits the vibe
