About
Let's make some low-res skins! By now I'm sure many people of you know about HD 128x128 skins, but what if we took it the other way? In this contest you will be making "Low Res" 32x32 skins. Instead of quadrupling the number of pixels, we're cutting it down to a quarter. (You will still be submiting it as a 64x64 skin though) I'm very curious to see what this restrictive limitation can bring about.
Rules- The skin must be sumbitted as a standard steve skin, since alex skins have an odd number of pixels and won't work with the contest's limitations.
- The skin's pixels must match in squares of 2x2, as if it were a 32x32 skin. For example, the face should be 4x4 "pixels" with 16 in total. If the skin can be scaled down to 32x32 without losing quality, then it's following this rule.
- Skins must be new and made for the contest (though you choose to base it off of an existing skin made by you.)
- Skins must follow the PMC rules.
Example
A good way to check if you have it right is to scale it down to half size, then scale it back. If you are doing it properly, there should be no change.
