Introducing the Minecraft Render Contest, an exciting opportunity for Minecraft enthusiasts and aspiring artists to showcase their talents and learn something new this summer!

Whether you're a seasoned pro or a beginner in the world of rendering, this jam welcomes everyone. We encourage you to join us on this thrilling journey, where you can unleash your creativity, learn new techniques, and become a master at transforming Minecraft scenes, skins, and more into breathtaking visuals.

To get started, you'll need some popular tools like Mine-imator, Blender, Cinema 4D, or any other software of your choice that does similar. To download and try each out, click the links attached to the software names. Don't worry if you're new to rendering; we've got you covered! Check out the helpful tutorial videos we've compiled below, designed specifically for beginners. Do note that the tutorial videos show more animation over rendering so keep in mind a render is a still image than a video:
  1. Mine-imator Animation Tutorial - Introduction to Minecraft animating and rendering using Mine-imator. Do note that is there are no Mine-imator 2.0 tutorials but it should be easy to use 2.0 on a 1.10 tutorial.
  2. Blender Minecraft Animation Tutorial - Beginner's Guide to Minecraft animation and rendering with Blender.

  3. Cinema 4D Minecraft Animation Tutorial - Creating Stunning Minecraft animations and renders in Cinema 4D.

    These tutorials will walk you through the basics, providing you with valuable insights and tips to kickstart your rendering journey. Remember, this contest is not just about winning; it's about having fun, exploring new techniques, and improving your skills along the way.

    We have two categories for this contest:
    1. Minecraft Scene Renders: Create stunning landscapes, epic battle scenes, cozy builds, or any Minecraft-themed scene you can imagine. Let your creativity soar!

    2. Minecraft Skin Renders: Showcase your talent by rendering exceptional Minecraft character skins. Bring them to life with realistic lighting, textures, and poses

    While the primary focus is on having fun and learning, we believe in acknowledging the outstanding efforts of our participants. The winners in each category will receive:
