Where do you get the fun emoticons?

Ever since I activated speech-to-text, I've had this thing near the time. When clicked, I can access emojis, gifs, and emoticons. I just prefer emoticons to emojis. <(￣︶￣)>

Can it be from a video game, tv show, etc.?

Yes, AS LONG AS it isn't a character from anything made by the person who made it; you are supposed to make your own character, not copy. ಠ_｣ಠ
