Realms of Redemption design contest

Information:

This is a contest to design content for the upcoming Realms of Redemption mod, you may submit any number of entries, including textures, models, skins, structures, concept art and written ideas.

Submissions such as models, concept art and stuff which can't be posted to other sections should be posted as blogs, just write a bit about what you've made if needed so it counts as one.

Screenshots shown here are all of very much work-in-progress content, and likely to change.

Theme:

Xaxos: dark blue floating island dimension inhabited by robots, filled with strange scifi structures.



Prismacon: bright, multicolored crystal themed dimension, inhabited by living crystal golems and decorated by huge crystal formations. Underground turns dark pink as it gets deeper.




At least two more dimensions are planned to be added, however this contest is just for the current two dimensions. A later contest might be made for the others if this one goes well.

Judging will be done by me, based on thematic relevance (how well I think it would fit the mod) and design/shading/writing quality. Although you may submit multiple entries, 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will go to separate people, so if you have the best two entries you're still only getting one trophy + skin request.

Prizes:

1st, 2nd and 3rd place and participation trophies

The members in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, as well as anyone whose entry is used or modified as part of the Realms of Redemption mod, may request a free skin from me, as well as early access to the mod before the main release.

Deadline:

September 22nd, so 3 weeks from contest launch.

If the site is unavailable during contest end or judging period I may consider extending the deadline.

Disclaimers:

free skin request slot cannot be substituted for money. By entering content into this contest you agree that I may use and distribute it as part of the Realms of Redemption mod, credit will be listed on the mod's project page. This does not mean I own the submission, simply that I can use it in the mod, which will be completely free.

Basic Summary

Unranked Jam accepted up to 5 Blogs, Data Packs, Maps, Mob Skins, Mods, Skins and Texture Packs from participants.
Accepts texture pack resolution of 16x, 32x, 64x, 128x, 256x, 512x, 1024x, 2048x and 4096x.
Accepts standard and 2x HD resolution skins.
Accepts all mob models excluding objects.

  Thank you to the participants of the contest! ohio920dagamer findolphin your entries are much appreciated, I wasn't sure if a contest like this would work since crystals and blue robots aren't themes people often use for skins here, plus the contest title itself doesn't really give any indication of what it is, there's a good chance I'll host another contest later on for some of the other dimensions too.
  
  If anyone's content from the contest does get used, or if it inspires something in the mod, then I'll be sure to credit you and let you know.
  
  Progress on the mod this contest was designed to help get assets/ideas for has been going well, 3 dimensions nearly done, 2 more in the works, and 3 more in the unconfirmed/concept stage. Likely to be a while yet before it gets finished, November at the earliest I'd say.
  
  Also I may end up redoing the trophy once my arm feels a bit better cause it's a little sore atm.

  Design contest is now live! (I'm not calling them jams, jam is what you put on toast)
  
  All sorts of different entries are accepted, there are two themes, one for each dimension in an upcoming mod - a robot themed dimension and a crystal themed dimension (you don't need to make anything code related, just anything which might fit in the dimensions)
  
  Check out the contest page for details, I've always been impressed by this community's creativity so I can't wait to see what you come up with :)
