This jam focuses on showing some much needed love to the templates commonly found & used by players on a daily basis.



So what's the theme you might ask?


Theme

Well usually when you use a template you paint over it to make whatever skin your going for.

But then it ain't a template anymore now is it?

That being said the challenge is simple.
Give templates some much needed love by giving them a makeover. Whether that's giving them some new colorful clothes, freshening up their look with a bit of polishing or whatever other ideas you get as long as you show them off instead of hiding them away.

What Is Considered A "Template"?
A perfect example of what is considered a template for this jam is Blockbench's default skin but anything that has a placeholder feel to it can work.
If you are unsure if something fits the theme feel free to msg me preferably with a image of it.

Rules

1. Be nice to your fellow participants & use common sense.
This is a skin jam not a CoD lobby if a participant is harassing you block & or report them.

2. Shout out your teammates.
Collaborating with other participants on an entry is allowed as long as credit is given to them in the entry's page (Ex. "Name of Entry" - Collab with ______ ).

3. No Reuploads or Plagiarizing.
I'm looking for new ideas not stolen or recycled ones no matter if it fits the theme or not.

4. All PMC Rules Apply

Judging

Ranked by Members - All members level 5+ can vote.
Entries can't be updated during the judge phase.
30 day entry period.
6 day voting phase after the entry period.

Rating Criteria

1. Jam Theme
   How well does the entry fit with the jam's theme? Does it show off the template or is it mostly covered up?
   Rated 1 to 10
2. Design
   How well is the entry designed? Do the colors mesh well? Does it stand out from other entries?
   Rated 1 to 10
3. Shading & Details
   How well is the shading & detail work of the entry? Are the transitions choppy or buttery smooth?
   Rated 1 to 10
