  • INTRODUCTION AND GENERAL RULES

    🌌🌸 WELCOME EXPLORERS & ARTISTS 🌸🌌

    There's a new dimension coming to minecraft next year and I'd like everyone to explore, theory craft, create what you like based on your own ideas or on the things Mojang has already released, if you've recently made something prior to this jam being published feel free to post it and enter!

    This jam will be unranked due to limitations with content options otherwise, but if everyone would like
    I can arrange a set of judges/member polls to vote for a individual winner in each category !

    The categories include:

    ⏵ Maps - Builds using current vanilla minecraft blocks to theory craft anything related to the sift,
    you can engineer the portal, the dimension itself, inhabitant buildings or anything you think of.

    ⏵ Texture packs - This includes custom models and datapacks, this obviously does not have to be a full resource but any textures you wish to create that fits the theme will be accepted, the more the merrier.
    I don't actually know the ins and outs of formatting models and resources on this website so if your model needs to be uploaded as a blog to present it will be counted as this category.

    ⏵ Player/Mob skins - Any creature or player you want! You can explore mob variants you think will be included in the dimension (or ones you wish will be), player skins that are on theme, even abstract art that can fit onto a mob/player model.

    ⏵ Blogs - I want stories, poems, theories, discussion; anything you can write about the sift, things you want from the game, how you believe the dimension has been developed, reviews of past dimensions and compairsons, anything you can possibly write that you think will be enjoyable for others to read; pop her in!


    I've set it so contestants can have 3 entries if anyone would enjoy entering multiple as a part of a series,
    or if anyone would like to enter with more than one category.     If judging does take place,
    these are the perimeters that everything will be judged on a 5 star rating of:

    1. Technical Execution
    Make a rating based on how well you think the content is technically made
    2. Creativity
    Make a rating based on how creative you think the concept is and how well the idea is translated
    3. Ethereal Element
    This is a unique rating! How excited does this content make you feel for the dimension?

    Basic Summary

    Unranked Jam accepting up to 3 Blogs, Maps, Mob Skins, Skins and Texture Packs from participants.
    Accepts texture pack resolution of 16x and 32x.
    Accepts only standard resolution skins.
    Accepts all mob models excluding objects.
