Well, in the Bukkit Plugin Mcmmo, with a certain skill level in Herbalism, you can place cobblestone and use seeds on the block; this turns the block into mossy cobblestone. Somewhat of the same thing that you're looking for. I don't know whether you're just looking for a single-player mod, or if this would work for you.

Have You Ever Been Op On Other Servers:I've owned many servers of my own, and made them sort of big. I've been op on one server that I did not create and own, but the owner decided to quit.
How long have you been playing MC: Over a year.
Describe your building skill:I'm a decent builder. Lots of experience with WorldEdit, and plug ins. I can make small, very intricate buildings, or very large, not as intricate buildings.
More Info: I have a 15 slot teamspeak server that I would be willing to use during the creation and building of this server, for the admins to communicate better.

Abilities:I'm really good at creative building, making things that haven't really been seen before.
Experience:I've been playing since the beginning of the Minecraft beta. I've ran quite a few of my own servers, good with learning commands, and using them to the full extent of their abilities.
Activity:Right now, from 4:30 until about 10:30. During the summer, the time will be substantially increased.

I need a lot of help with permissions and portforwarding. If you could PM me or something that'd be nice. I have a ventrilo server, and skype. I'm working on getting a mumble server up. I'm a decently face learner, so if you could just tell me what/how to do something that'd be awesome. Thanks dude.
