Also He didn't Even Post what he was going to play on it, We all know he probably plays Minecraft.
For Me I Play Minecraft on a Dell optiplex 745 Specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.4 GHz
Ram 3.25 GB
HDD 160 Gb
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Nvidia Geforce 220 1 GB
And I know that Sucks and it run minecraft at 60 fps single player, 90ish on a Server
I've Probably put $260 into it and it runs

I'd go with:
Amd Fx Quad Core: http://shop.amd.com/us/All/Detail/Proce ... 130FRGUBOX
Motherboard: Start @ $43-$200
Windows 7/8: $100 or more for different versions
Graphics Card: Ati R7 Series start at $70 to about $200
PowerSupply: 400w - 500w
Cases: start at $30 ish and go up
Disk Drive: DVD Burner $15
Hard Drive: 500 GB to save money or 1 TB if you pls
You could get it around $400 I think with this
