Hey, found out this thing but the post was 2 months ago but anyways, there was a driver update for all nvidia gpus maybe you were playing on integerated graphics
that was a problem with my old one, now i got a better laptop, it never heats up and i mostly never hear the fan sound at all, but the performance is also fast
try over clocking your cpu, my friend did it to me and i get a ton of fps, also delete stuff in the temps folder also check if your java is upto date, if you did any of these steps, you might get a decent framerate
