Hey dude, what you need to do is take all your saves and put them on your desktop,
You ready for this You have to delete your .minecraft, sadly, and open minecraft and it will automatically be 1.4.6 then you will have your .minecraft back, open it up put the stuff that you put on your desktop back in your saves file, then you will have your worlds back and you will have 1.4.6
