I've had cats my entire life, and I know quite a bit about them. Cow's milk, when diluted, works just fine. However, don't give it to her all the time. Water is better. Be sure to give her kitten food for now, and when she's older give her cat food. Depending on where you live you can let her out and she'll be fine. If you live out in the middle of nowhere like me, you can leave her out all the time and be fine for a year or two, but if you live in the middle of the city I'd try to leave her inside as much as possible. In a neighborhood (the small kind with houses idk what that's called) I wouldn't worry either way. Cats are very independent creatures so she'll be fine while you're gone as long as there is someone to make sure she has food/water and a clean litterbox. If the litterbox isn't cleaned regularly they will start to go elsewhere in the house, and once they start it's tough to get them to stop.
