Good luck with that.... I suggest watching direwolf20 and other decent mod reviewers who can teach you fundamentals.

Painterly is a community project of texture artists contributing into one big pack. This is the exact same fundamentals of that. And if you haven't heard of painterly you must have not used many texture packs. God, I wonder about this community......

I do understand modloader mods work with forge fine. But I am stating that the code is inferior to forge mods. And head over to the minecraft forums to see some real mods.
