Update on my latest project: Realistic Modern Mansion:

Taking my time with the build as I want it to be a good as possible by the end (plus other commitments), but have made some good progress over the past couple of days. The main exterior is now in a finished state. with all main rooms in the building also fully furnished.

What's left is the furnishing of the remaining underground/basement rooms, including: home cinema, small gym and guest bedrooms. The rest of the driveway and surrounding landscaping also needs to be completed and refined.

So far, I've been very happy with the creative results of this build, and hopefully should have it finished by roughly the end of November, in line with the release of the 1.18 update. Based on this, a 1.18 version of this map once completed will also be created and made available for free download. A cinematic showcase/tour and (eventually) a tutorial are also in the planned works.

Overall, very exciting times ahead, and I can't wait to fully unveil the final version of this house. As usual, let me know what you think of the progress/results so far.

Builder tip: If you're ever stuck on what to add to the landscape for your house, why not a whole river? Also, just can never get enough of shaders + better leaves mod.

Hi everyone,

It's once again been awhile since I've lasted posted, but I wish to announce my latest and upcoming project that I've been working on for this past week: My 'Realistic Modern Mansion', continuing the theme from my previous build where I attempt to focus on achieving a unique but also realistic design aesthetic that can work for default Minecraft. This is also to mark the celebration for managing to hit 100 subscribers on my PMC page, which I am extremely grateful for and ecstatic to have finally achieved. A big thank you to all those 100, along with everyone in general who paid interest to my projects.

It is on this ocassion that I wanted to ensure that this new build is my best one yet, and am excited to see the final result. So far, I like to think it's coming along nicely, with the majority of the exterior completed along with a good start on the landscaping. A lot more still needs doing especially the interior, but hopefully, once completed, I can try and get a tutorial on this build made, following from the positive and helpful feedback on my previous and first ever build tutorial.

Hi everyone,

I haven't done this kind of blog before, but I just want to give a massive thanks to everyone who paid interest to my 'Realistic Modern House' that was posted last week, especially to the 15 new subscribers gained since. As of now, the house has 3642 views and 1400 downloads. My previous 'Modern Beachside Mega Mansion' has up to this point garnerd nearly 23,000 views and 5847 downloads (14,842 downloads according to mediafire) in the space of just six months, and is still rising.

I still can't work out where all these views come from, but the knowledge that my projects have proven good enough to generate this amount of interest and attention is just insane. It's mind-boggling, in fact, and it's great to know that there are many who enjoy my work.

So again, a big thanks to everyone who helped make my submissions become a success. These projects are always fun to do regardless of how popular they become (which is what ultimately matters), but I can't again lie that the attention hasn't motivated me further to continue doing this. I don't post super frequently for various reasons and I like to take long enough breaks, but there is definitely more to come, so stay tuned for when that happens.

My latest upcoming project: Realistic Large Modern House. Managed to get the general exterior nailed down; interior is next. Quite liking the overall design so far. What do you think?

My next big milestone is to hopefully create my first ever video tutorial on this build, so i'm very looking forward to trying that out and seeing what I can do. Stay tuned for more!

Very happy with the success of my "Modern Beachside Mega Mansion" post. Thanks guys.
As an additional treat, here is a Youtube cinematic showcase I put together to further showoff the house. This is the first proper video i've made, but it's something that I've been wanting to do for a long while, and hopefully will be the first in a series for any future projects.

If that's the case, it's alright. btw the texture pack is really nice so I suggest you use it for some builds. I appreciate your hard work, I mean for two months? that's long.. Anyways, Advanced Merry Christmas!

This is unfortunately the case with UTB not being updated to 1.16, although the blocks used in the build itself should be fine.This is otherwise why I may no longer continue to use this resource pack for any fuiture builds.

I went back to the world on 1.14.4, but the saves have corrupted as a result of loading on an older version of Minecraft. I will have to see about restoring/repairing the corrupted saves and then updating the download link, so thanks for bringing this up.

In the meantime, there is the default version of the build that can be fully used for 1.16. Cheers.

Please make another map of this where I can download in 1.14.4. Some of the textures (UTB flows) in my 1.16.4 world have no textures/glitching. Thanks.

Latest update on the mega-mansion project: Took a a bit of a break from the build but came back to make more progress over the past few days. Went further forward with landscaping especially at the front, as well as completing the multi-car garage and doing some general touch-ups to the house here and there. It now even includes a rooftop helicopter pad!

Only a few hurdles left at this point; this includes the gym and spa, basement theatre and wine cellar, additional landscaping, outdoor kitchen, and personally-designed vehicles to add to the garage. Everything else is now 100% finished.

Once this is finished, I will be making a separate version of this house for default textures only. The final build will be released for download when my new PC is finished (hopefully in the next couple of weeks).

Stay tuned for more updates in the near future.

Update to mansion project: Pretty much have all bedrooms including master suite finished, after a lot of work. Next stage is the garage, which I have some cool ideas on how to link it up to the rest of the house, e.g. stairway from garage to ground/main floor; elevator which connects garage to ground floor and master suite. Quite excited to see it all completed, including my planned default textures version.

Thanks! Its UTB Flows 1.14.4. Basically a modified flows HD. Hasn't been updated to 1.16 yet, but its still one of my go-to pack for modern builds.

Update to the mansion project: Whole first floor of the main building is now essentially complete. Since last update, this now includes the main entrance/hall, second dining and bar area, left-wing hallway, guest rooms and main rest room/powder room.

Progress left includes:
Upstairs dormitory (6 en suite bedrooms including master suite)
Gym and Spa
Garage
Basement home-theatre
Tennis/Ball court
Landscape Terraforming including rest of front driveway.

I plan to make this downloadable when complete, and also when I hopefully get my new PC. However, I am also making a 'default' version of this build that isn't optimised for any resource pack, to ensure wider accessibility. So far, it's all going steadily along.

More progress made on the mansion last night and today. Interior is coming along nicely, with the main kitchen, study/office, corner lounge fitted. Even did some front landscaping, with a start made on the driveway and guest carpark. Quite pleased with the results so far.

A small tease of my latest and biggest project yet: My Modern Beachside Mega Mansion. Going well so far, but hopefully by November or December time, I'll have my new gaming computer ready, meaning I can finally get some nice shaders working. Wish me luck!

Hello everyone,
Apologies to my subscribers for my inactivity over the past couple of months. Academic commitments and such have kept me (and will continue to keep me) extremely busy. One new project is currently in the works nonetheless, which focuses on reconstructing/rejuvenating my 'modern cliffside house' build to an updated contemporary modern style. Unfortunately, I haven't had the time and inspiration to devise any new builds for the moment. Completion time remains uncertain, but more content will be on the way. Stay tuned :)
